A website you update by talking to Claude
Offered by Alexandra Swan, Inzention, ABN 22 415 755 778. All prices are in Australian dollars and are the full price of my services, with no GST added.
I rebuild your website from what you already have: your current site, your social pages, and the photos and text you give me. After it launches, you update it yourself by telling Claude what changed. I keep it running for a monthly fee. This is a new service, and you would be an early client.
The build: A$1,500
- A new site built from your existing site, your social pages and your own material.
- You approve the design before the build starts. You see two design directions as working mock-ups, pick one and ask for changes. One concept round and one revision round are included. If you want a third round, I quote it before doing it.
- Every page, and every event, show or product on the site, is a file you own.
- Every old web address redirects to its new page, so links people already have and search engine listings point to the right place.
- Every photo carries alt text, the description screen readers and search engines use.
- Payment: half (A$750) when you sign, half when you accept the finished site in writing.
The care plan: A$149 a month
- Hosting, your domain and DNS kept working.
- The site rebuilt nightly, with every version backed up.
- A monthly check of every page and link.
- Software and security updates.
- The Claude set-up kept working as Claude changes.
- Up to two changes a month that you cannot make by talking to Claude, such as a new type of page or a design change.
- Care starts at hand-over, or 15 business days after launch if hand-over has not happened by then. It is invoiced monthly. Three-month minimum, then month to month. Either of us can end it with 30 days' notice.
Editing your site: included
- You change the site by describing the change to Claude in the Claude desktop app: a new show, a changed menu, new photos, a news post. You see a preview first. Nothing goes live until you type /publish.
- Text-only changes also work from claude.ai or the Claude phone app.
- If you would rather click than type, there is a click-to-edit page at your site's /admin address.
- You need a Claude Pro plan, which you buy from Anthropic; check claude.ai for the current price. You also need the Claude desktop app and a copy of the site on your computer, which I set up with you once at hand-over.
What stays yours
- Your domain and your content are yours.
- The site's code and content live in a repository. You get a copy on request at any time and at the end of care, with a written export of every page.
- The build tools and templates I use stay mine.
Not included
Online stores, bookings, memberships, custom web applications, SEO campaigns, or new copywriting. I carry your existing text across. I do not build sites for health practices. If you need one of these, tell me before we start, so you can decide whether this offer fits.
Timing
My side of the build takes no more than 21 business days, counted from the later of your deposit and your content and logins: two design directions within 5, the revised design within 3 of your choice, the finished site for your approval within 10 of your sign-off, and launch within 3 of your acceptance. Add the time you take to choose a design, approve it and accept the site. If you answer each within a week, the site launches about seven weeks after we start. Your start date and target launch date go into the agreement.
How I build it
I build the site with AI agents (Claude) that I direct and check. You approve the design before the build starts, and you accept the finished site before the balance is due.
Your rights
This service comes with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded: it is provided with due care and skill, it is reasonably fit for any purpose you tell me about and any result you tell me you want, and it is delivered within a reasonable time. The agreement says so.

Design rounds
Round one: you see two design directions as working mock-ups and pick one. Round two: I make the changes you ask for on the one you picked, and you approve it in writing. The build starts after that approval. A third round is quoted before any work on it starts.

You are the publisher of your site's content. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you give me, and I do not invent facts, quotes or credits; where a credit is needed I ask you for it.
Acceptance and payment
The build fee is A$1,500, with no GST added. Half is paid when you sign and half when you accept the finished site in writing. Acceptance means the site matches the approved design and the agreed page list and passes the launch check. The agreement sets out the acceptance test and the payment terms.
Hand-over and editing
At hand-over I set up the Claude desktop app and a copy of the site on your computer, and you make your first change with me. From then on you change the site by describing the change to Claude. You see a preview, and nothing goes live until you type /publish. Text-only changes also work from claude.ai or the Claude phone app. The /admin page lets you click to edit if you would rather. Claude is made by Anthropic; you buy your own Claude Pro plan and it is not part of my fee.

A change is one request for work you cannot do by talking to Claude: a new type of page, a change to the design or layout, or a new section of the site. I do it, you preview it, and I publish it. Keeping the site working is care, not a change.

Hosting and accounts
The site is hosted on a free Cloudflare account in your name, which I run for you. You open the account and add me to it before launch; I give you the steps. Your domain stays registered in your name at your registrar, and you pay its renewal fee. At launch I move its DNS to point at the new site and carry your mail and newsletter records over, with you or with your registrar access. The site's code and content live in a repository that you can have a copy of at any time.
Ending the care plan
The care plan runs for a minimum of three months from the day care starts, then month to month. After the three months there is no new minimum. Either of us can end it with 30 days' written notice. When it ends, you get the repository and a written export of every page. I remove myself from your Cloudflare account, and the site stays up on it. Your domain and your content are yours throughout. The agreement sets out the hand-over steps at the end.
Timing
The agreement gives a start date and a target launch date. My side is at most 21 business days of the path: 5 for the two design directions, 3 for the revision, 10 for the build and 3 for launch. The rest is yours: choosing a direction, approving the design and accepting the finished site, each within 10 business days under the agreement. Three inputs set the pace: how soon I have your logins and exports, how soon you approve the design, and how soon you accept the finished site.
